The patch to 1.75 which adds the Map Editor and navigate-while-paused features is now available for the US English version. Back up any changed INI files and revert to the originals before downloading. You will be prompted to download the patch the first time you run Rails with an Internet connection. However, if you have difficulties, you can download from the Downloads section of our web site.

The French language version of Rails is on the shelves in France. You can also purchase it from Amazon. Unfortunately, someone with a French version cannot currently play multiplayer with someone with an English version.

We're working on a new patch that will be out in about ten days. It will dramatically improve the computer opponents (who seem to have developed an aversion to actually assigning trains) and will curb their constant warring tendencies. Plus, a new feature, the Hall of Fame screen, which tracks the best games for each of the scenarios!
